Accounts are automatically created in Portal 3.0 once the contract gets replicated from SFDC, however users must still review and complete certain settings that are not included in the automation to ensure a complete account setup.
Review the steps in this demo or follow the checklist below:
1 - Navigate to the Accounts Page in P3 and search for the account (the account name is the same as the SFDC account name)
2 - Review all auto-created account settings, paying special attention to:
- Property address (used for audiences)
- Advertiser homepage URL
- Reporting currency
- Approved payment methods
3 - If running on FB, add a Facebook Page ID
4 - Add any required account associations (Note: Sub-Portfolios and Parent accounts are not created automatically.)
5 - Add any additional inputs, such as co-op reporting settings, filter codes, and reconciliation reason codes
6 - If a Navi advertiser already exists, please go into Navi and check that:
- The SFDC account ID is present
- Any existing DSP advertiser IDs that should be used for integrations are included on the Navi advertiser
- Back to the Accounts Page and navigate to Integrations > Data Integration > Configure Container Pixel
- Either select a container pixel and enter the property ID, or select None Selected for a standard advertiser (DSP integrations and pixels, where supported, will not be triggered until this is configured)
By following this checklist, you will successfully complete the account setup.
