Please follow the steps below to create users and accounts for Co-Op hosts and participants in Portal 3.0:
- On the SFDC Opportunity and Contract Note, ensure that the Go To Market field is marked as “Co-Op” in order for Portal 3.0 to properly process the contract.
- In Portal 3.0, click on Create New Account and follow the usual account creation process for both Co-Op hosts and participants.
- When creating a Co-Op participant account in Portal 3.0, ensure that they are assigned as child accounts of Co-Op hosts. In the Main section, click on Add Association and search for the Co-Op host. If the Co-Op host account is not already in Portal, it can be added later.
- At the Account Settings step, under Reporting all accounts are marked as Not Part of a Co-Op by default. Classify the Co-Op Settings as either Co-Op Host or Co-Op Participant. These options will only appear for Chain or Brand accounts of type.
Co-op contracts will automatically be replicated to (and available in) Portal 3.0 once the account is created.
Once the accounts are created, please follow the existing process for user creation.
