What is the process for clients to pay invoices?
To make sure the client will be able to complete invoice payments via Invoice tab > Pay Invoice Now button in Portal 3.0, first confirm that the client has been included as the ‘invoice recipient’ at the contract level in SFDC.
If this is not done beforehand in SFDC, the client will run into issues when trying to proceed with payment in Portal 3.0.
Where can customers find Invoices and Booking Reports?
- When customers login we are nesting invoices and booking reports under a single Billing section. When they want to reconcile bookings they should navigate to Billing >> Bookings Report to view all past and present bookings reports to reconcile. They can download the .csv file from there as well.
Where is the client able to see / change their payment method?
- Clients can see, edit and delete their payment methods in their Account Settings. This is found in the Accounts tab or by clicking the profile icon in the top-right.
Can Internal Sojern users delete payment methods?
- No, payment methods must be deleted by the customer, or the Internal user must contact Accounting for help.
Is there a bulk reconciliation/removal function in Portal 3.0?
- Yes, please see the Bulk Reconciliation article for help using the bulk reconciliation tool.
What is the difference between billing currency and reporting currency?
- Reporting currency' is on the Account and is the currency in which the clients reports/metrics/dashboard are shown. 'Billing currency' is on the contract and is the currency in which the client will need to pay Sojern.
