LI Updaters
Our analyst teams are the backbone to campaign performance across the company. In order to maintain this performance, they use many tools to make changes to campaigns at scale.
One area we are opening up is the ability to make updates at a LI level across DSPs.
Our LI updater tools allow these updates on specific fields.
Our LI duplicator tools allow for new lines to be created when they are based on previously created lines.
How does the LI updater work?
Our tool works by identifying a LI to be updated, gathering the field values for a LI required to be updated through a csv generated by the user, validating the updates and overriding the current field values in the DSP.
How does the LI duplicator work?
Our tool works identifying a LI to be duplicated, gathering the field values that need to be different in the new LI through a csv generated by the user, validating the updates and creating a new LI in the DSP. Any settings not called out in the csv will be set as whatever as on the original LI.
FAQ
Why are only certain fields available to be updated/duplicated?
We need to build validations into our bulk updaters so we don’t make bulk mistakes. Adding these validations takes time and so any fields added to the updater tools are added based on need and frequency. We will work to have as many fields available to update as time/capacity allows.
Why do I sometimes need to change multiple fields at the same time?
For some fields, there are business or technical rules that bind them together. LI name and LI language targeting are a great example. If you change one, the other must be changed too, so we enforce this in our tool.
If there are already settings on a particular field, and I update that field, does the previous setting still apply?
No, the updater tool will remove any previous settings on that field and update with only the values in the sheet.
Any other settings which are applied to fields not in the sheet will be left untouched.
